FAQs
Yes, we do offer nationwide domestic flight transport within the United States through a trusted and certified professional animal transport service.
If you choose flight nanny or cargo transport, here is the general process:
Quote & Booking: We will arrange for transport based on your location.
Health Check: Your puppy will receive a final health examination from our veterinarian 24h before transport, as required by airlines and state laws.
Travel Day: Your puppy will be shipped in an approved, airline-grade kennel with absorbent bedding, a frozen water dish, and a small bag of the food they are accustomed to.
Tracking & Pickup: You will receive a tracking number for tracking. You will be required to pick up your puppy from the airport. Instructions will be given for how to go about it
The cost varies significantly depending on your distance, the airline, and fuel prices. As such, we have made arrangements with our transport agencies so we are only charged $300 to any state. For international travel, we will provide you with a firm quote before you commit. This fee is separate from the puppy’s purchase price and is paid alongside your puppy.
We would never use a service we didn’t trust implicitly. Our chosen transport partners are professionals who specialize in the safe and humane transport of animals. Using climate-controlled environments for holding and during tarmac transitions.
If you are picking up:
Bring a secure, well-ventilated crate for the car ride.
Have a leash and collar/harness ready.
Plan for potty breaks every 1-2 hours during the trip.
Bring paper towels and water, just in case of car sickness.
If your puppy is being flown to you:
Have your photo ID ready for pickup at the airport.
Prepare your car with a secure crate.
Have your home setup ready: a quiet space, water, and a potty area.
Yes, but this must be arranged and approved by us in advance. The designated person must be fully briefed on the care instructions and bring a copy of the signed contract and their photo ID.
We are happy to discuss a mutually agreeable meeting location within a reasonable distance (e.g., 1-2 hours). A small travel fee may apply.
We take several steps to prepare our puppies for the journey:
Crate Training: Our puppies are introduced to crates in a positive way from an early age.
Socialization: They are handled daily and exposed to various sounds and surfaces to build confidence.
Health: They are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and will have a final vet check just before travel.
Comfort: We send a small blanket or toy with the scent of their littermates to provide comfort during the trip.
